Join the UIC Social Justice Initiative and the UIC Gender and Sexuality Center for a Pride month double feature film screening that explores Trans activism and allies.

🎂 Happy Birthday, Marsha! is a fictionalized short film by Tourmaline that imagines iconic Transgender rights activists Marsha P. Johnson and Silvia Rivera in the hours leading up to the Stonewall Uprising in 1969.

🏳️‍⚧️ Intentionally Erased is a film about Trans visibility, safety, and joy centered around conversations between Black Trans women and Black cis men.

🥗 Light bites and refreshments will be served.
